After working with closely with over 90 companies in a technical capacity in the last 20 years I’ve put together the following 5 Priorities (#5 is the best one) that I would suggest are absolute requirements for manufacturing companies in the year 2022.
- Implement a Learning Management System to ensure essential knowledge is properly disseminated across the entire company
- Apply Principle of Least Privilege is an information security concept which enforces the idea that users and applications should be granted the minimum level of access needed to perform required tasks
- Leverage Microsoft 365 for collaboration, communication and organization
- Table Top Exercises focused on security, business continuity and governance to ensure a well thought out strategy to dramatically lower risk and identify areas of improvement
- Most Important – Work with every department to identify a technology adoption plan
